The Village of Sayward is implementing watering restrictions. Authority to restrict water usage is set out in Water Regulation Bylaw No. 391.
The following water restrictions are effective from June 15, 2021, to September 30, 2021:
Watering is only permitted between the following hours on your designated day:
6 AM to 10 AM; and
6 PM to 10 PM
Residences with address numbers ending in an even number (e.g. 110 Dyer Dr.), watering is allowed on even days of the month (June 24, 26, 28, 30, etc.).
Residences with address numbers ending in an odd number (e.g. 111 Dyer Dr.), watering is allowed on odd days of the month (June 23, 25, 27, 29 etc.).
These restrictions are intended to ensure that ALL residents receive an adequate supply of water throughout the summer months and that sufficient reserve supplies are available should they be required for emergency firefighting purposes.
PLEASE NOTE: The washing of parking lots, driveways, automobiles, boats etc. is only permitted on the resident’s designated days before 10:00 am and after 6:00 pm.
