FireSmart BC is hosting a free informative and interactive 45-minute webinar aimed at providing local governments, First Nations, Neighbourhood Champions, Fire Departments, Community FireSmart and Resiliency Committee members and Local FireSmart Representatives with the tools and know-how to create their own FireSmart communication channels and materials.
The webinar will share information with members of the FireSmart community covering a range of topics including: how to access the FireSmart Toolkit to build your own marketing materials, how to utilize FireSmart BC’s social media accounts, working within the FireSmart brand guidelines to ensure effective messaging, how to access FireSmart BC resources, and will provide a brief overview of the 2022 Community Resiliency Investment Program (FireSmart Community Funding & Supports) funding program.
We are also currently updating FireSmartBC.ca and will showcase the new and improved website on the webinar.
